Why is it that everything these days is a “Now breaking” or “Breaking News” or “Flash News”? I can understand the news channel’s wish to grab my attention but just seem that every time I look at CNN the word “Breaking News” is on the screen. This is just stupid and ridiculous.
Breaking news for me is when a flight lands in the Hudson or when the President decides to take my tax dollars and donate in billions to some one I don’t think deserves it. When a lower court in Florida sentences some one for kidnaping their own kid, it is just news — not breaking news.
Please — stop this…

well now NEWS paper are using the term just to get attention..the definition of journalism is changing day by day..there are very few quality news channels around.. 😦
